A
Arrowroot
Origin: Tropical plant root (Maranta arundinacea)
Natural moisture absorber
A fine, silky powder derived from the arrowroot plant. It absorbs moisture without drying the skin, making it ideal for natural deodorant formulations where you want to stay fresh without blocking pores.
B
Beeswax
Origin: Honeycomb, produced by Apis mellifera
Locks in moisture without clogging pores
Gives our balms and creams their structure so they hold shape through an Australian summer. Acts as a semi-occlusive seal — it keeps hydration in without suffocating the skin. Naturally antimicrobial.
Bergamot
Origin: Citrus bergamia — cold-pressed from the rind
Hydrates the skin — non-photosensitive
Most citrus oils make skin more reactive to UV light (photosensitising). We specifically formulate with non-photosensitive bergamot so that risk is eliminated. No photosensitising ingredients anywhere in the range.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
Origin: Coconut-derived — fractionated from coconut oil
Lightweight emollient base
A silky, stable liquid derived from coconut oil. It gives our deodorant its smooth glide without the greasy feel of heavier oils. Highly stable — resists oxidation, which means no synthetic preservatives needed.
Capsicum
Origin: Chilli pepper extract (Capsicum frutescens)
Warming sensation, stimulates blood flow
Originally formulated 10 years ago for skateboarders. Produces a warming sensation that increases circulation to the area. Stocked at Parliament Skate Shop, Brisbane. Patch-test required — not for broken or sensitive skin.
Carrot Oil
Origin: Daucus carota — macerated carrot root extract
Supports skin health
Naturally rich in carotenoids (provitamin A precursors) and antioxidants. Works alongside the zinc in our Zinc Cream to nourish and support the skin while it protects.
Cedarwood
Origin: Essential oil distilled from cedarwood bark and heartwood
Clarifies and balances the skin
Used at functional levels, not for fragrance. Grounding, woody, and appealing across the range. Has natural clarifying properties that help balance oily or congested skin.
Cetearyl Alcohol
Origin: Plant-derived fatty alcohol (coconut and palm)
Natural emulsifier and thickener
Not a drying alcohol — it's a fatty alcohol that blends oil and water phases together. Gives our deodorant its smooth, consistent texture without synthetic emulsifiers.

Frankincense
Origin: Resin distilled to oil (Boswellia species)
Toning, balancing and rejuvenating
Used for centuries on mature and weathered skin. The resin is carefully distilled to extract its essential oil. In Palatial, it rounds out the blend with its grounding, restorative properties.
K
Kaolin Clay
Origin: Natural mineral clay (kaolinite)
Absorbs moisture gently
The gentlest of all clays. Absorbs excess moisture and impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Ideal for sensitive areas like underarms where harsh clays would cause irritation.
L
Lemon Myrtle
Origin: Australian native plant (Backhousia citriodora)
Soothing and refreshing
Bright, clean top note that lifts the heavier resins and woods underneath it. Naturally antimicrobial. One of the highest natural citral contents of any essential oil — giving it a fresh, uplifting character.
M
Magnesium Hydroxide
Origin: Natural mineral compound
Natural odour control
Works by neutralising the acids that bacteria produce when they break down sweat. Unlike aluminium-based antiperspirants, it doesn't block sweat glands — it simply removes the odour at its source.
N
Non-Nano Zinc Oxide
Origin: Mineral — zinc oxide particles above 100nm
25% mineral barrier protection
Non-nano means the particles are too large to pass through skin. Sits on the surface as a physical shield. Free from oxybenzone and octinoxate — no reef harm. Calming and protective on irritated or compromised skin.

Organic Calendula
Origin: Marigold flower (Calendula officinalis) — infused in oil
Soothes and hydrates skin
Traditionally used on irritated and recovering skin. The marigold infusion pairs with chamomile to calm without stripping. Gentle enough for the most sensitive skin types.
Organic Chamomile
Origin: Chamomile flower (Matricaria chamomilla) — steam distilled
Soothes skin, balances oil production, softens skin
The reason Blue Chamomile is blue. Settles heat and reactive skin without shutting the barrier down. Natural colour varies batch to batch — blue through aqua. This is a feature, not a flaw.
Organic Jojoba Oil
Origin: Seed of the jojoba shrub (Simmondsia chinensis)
Balances & nourishes the skin
Technically a liquid wax, not an oil — which is why it mimics your skin's own sebum so closely. Keeps the blend spreadable without leaving a film. Absorbs cleanly, no greasy residue.
Organic Tallow
Origin: Grass-fed beef fat, carefully rendered
Potent, nutrient-dense moisture
The foundation of every Sacred Bull product. Structurally close to your own skin lipids, so it absorbs instead of sitting on top — carrying vitamins A, D, E, K and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) in the form your barrier already uses. Our tallow is organic, grass-fed, and ethically sourced.

Vitamin E
Origin: Natural tocopherol — GMO-free, plant-derived
Restores moisture, improves skin texture
Antioxidant that also slows oxidation in the blend itself — which is how we skip synthetic preservatives. Protects the product and your skin simultaneously.
Z
Zinc Ricinoleate
Origin: Zinc salt of ricinoleic acid (from castor oil)
Traps and neutralises odour
A natural odour absorber that chemically traps odour molecules rather than masking them with fragrance. Works alongside magnesium hydroxide for comprehensive, all-day odour control.
